SARAH HRYNIEWICZ

WHO IS Sarah?

How did you get started on your fitness journey?
I was on vacation with my family about 5 years ago, and one night—at 3 am—I randomly decided to head into the hotel gym. Although I played sports and was very active growing up, I had never actually set foot in a weight room. That night I spent a good hour or two googling different exercises and doing my best to execute them. I had NO idea what I was doing but I LOVED it. From that day on, I was absolutely hooked.
 
What are some of your accomplishments?
About a year into lifting, I competed in an NPC Figure Competition. After that, I transitioned to more of a powerlifting approach to training and from there I stumbled into Strongman. I competed in 3 local competitions and then about a year ago I decided to fully commit to training for Strongman.
 
Obviously, this past year didn't go as planned for anyone, but I’m looking forward to seeing how far I can go in the world of Strongman.
 
How did you learn about C4 Energy?
I am a huge fan of all things caffeine, and so I’m always on the lookout for a good energy drink. Based on previous experience with C4 I was very intrigued when C4 energy came out, and the rest is history <3
 
What are you working on right now?
I’m currently in my off- season—working on getting stronger and more comfortable with the strongman implements. I’m eating good and lifting heavy!
 
How do you stay motivated during tough times?
I do what I do because I genuinely love it, and on the days where I’m just not feeling it, I remind myself about the bigger picture. Discipline takes over when the motivation isn’t there.
 
What are some of your personal and fitness goals? Anything big on the horizon?
I definitely have some specific numbers I would like to hit in the gym, but my overarching goal is to become a better, more well-rounded athlete. My future fitness goals include: Competing at a national level in Strongman.
